He is a warm feeling. But, he distracts you from everything you need to do. I know him too well. He makes every distraction seem interesting. His goal is to make you waste time and not get anything done. He is called Procrastination. I know too much about procrastination
Whether you’re writing an essay, doing homework, or doing chores, procrastination lurks everywhere, he’s searching for his next victim. He’s at the back of your mind telling you: you can sleep a little longer, you can squeeze in that “one more episode”, or he's reminding you it's not due til Friday. We all have to deal with him; some more than others. This essay is a bit ironic, I may or may not have procrastinated on this essay.
Procrastination makes you suffer. He is a chain that holds you down but, the way he keeps you is the main part. He holds you down with comfort and, your laziness kicks in. He loves yo watch you suffer. Your grades, chores, health and, social life are affected by him. I know from experience. In 6th and 7th grade, I suffered. My grades dropped, I didn't really talk to any friends and, I lost track of time a lot.
I questioned if there was a way to get out of his grasp. Sometimes it seems impossible. He is clenched onto your throat, holding you down tight and never letting you go.
There is a way to escape from him. There is a key to his chains surprisingly.. It's called self-control. It more a reminder of how procrastination can't keep you forever. It more or less his “weakness” he can't keep you. But, he can manipulate you. So be careful.
I know about procrastination. I know almost everything about him and what he does. And, I've experienced his wrath first hand. But, I also know his weakness. So I can get out of his grasp but, it takes a while. So I know what it's like to experience and suffer from procrastination
